Legal Requirements For First Aid In The Workplace
With training from our HSA recognised Instructors our Occupational First Aid courses
will satisfy your legal requirements for Health and Safety. All our
teaching staff are registered Occupational First Aid instructors
with the National Ambulance
Training College. This comprehensive course is designed to give the
First Aider the skills necessary to give effective life support,
diagnose & treat injuries or illness, and maintain care and comfort
of the casualty.
This one day course covers a
comprehensive range of topics to prepare the qualified Occupational
First Aider to administer emergency care in the workplace.
Participants will learn a high level of practical skill and
theoretical knowledge, so that they can deal competently with any
situation that may arise in the working environment.
All participants receive a
comprehensive first aid manual, designed by first aid and ambulance
instructors here in Ireland. The assessment is conducted by an
independent examiner appointed by the Health & Safety Authority.
Upon successful completion of the course and examination,
participants are presented with an Occupational First Aid
Certificate, which is valid for three years. |
