PHECC Cardiac First Response (CFR) Community Level Instructor Course

Course Description:

The objective of the course is to enable participants to teach Cardiac First Response Community Level Course. 
The CFR Community Level Course is accredited by The Pre Hospital Emergency Care Council 
These include 
 -Administration of aspirin 
 -Stroke assessment (FAST Assessment) 
 -Recovery Position 
 -Choking 
 -Critical incident stress awareness 
 -Cardiac First Responder Report (CFRR) and legal indemnity issues. 

- This Course includes all monitoring sessions required (3) plus automatic faculty membership to Safety Ireland as your ATI. All Course documentation provided plus access to a student e-book


The Instructor will be able to administer the above course and keep appropriate records, to remediate skills and 
answer reasonable questions. 


Course Prerequisites:
Candidates will be required to complete the full Cardiac First Response Community Level Course (including 
adult, infant and child modules) as a prerequisite to attend the Cardiac First Response Community Level 
Instructor Course. 


Post Course Certification Requirements:
Once the Cardiac First Response Community Level Instructor Course is successfully completed, new CFR 
Instructors must successfully demonstrate their teaching skills while instructing CFR Community Level Courses. 
Monitoring must be done within 90 days of completing the instructor course and can be done with Safety Ireland. 


Re-certification Guidelines:
A Cardiac First Response Community Level Instructor is required to re-certify every two years in order to stay 
current as an instructor. Certification expires at the end of the month two years from the date of the initial training 
course or last re-certification course. 


Re-certification must be done before current certification lapses otherwise the Instructor will be required to 
complete the full Cardiac First Response Community Level Instructor Course again.

Anyone who wants to qualify as a Cardiac First Response Community Level Instructor.
Prerequisites: Current Cardiac First Response Community Level.

Duration: 2 days. 
Certificate: PHECC Cardiac First Responder Instructor. 
Certificate Valid For: 2 years for PHECC Cardiac First Responder Instructor.
